When to use it
When the landlord, a family member, or a purchaser needs to move into the unit. Must give at least 60 days notice.
What happens next
The tenant has 60 days to vacate. You must pay one month's rent as compensation. If they don't leave, you can file an L2 application.
Common mistakes
- ✗Not paying one month's rent compensation — this voids the notice
