When to use it
When a landlord charged illegal fees, failed to pay rent deposit interest, or illegally raised your rent.
What happens next
The LTB can order the landlord to repay the money owed plus interest. Filing fee: $48 (online) paid to the LTB.
Note: The LTB charges a separate government filing fee ($48 online / $53 by mail), paid directly to the LTB when you file.
