Three ways to handle your LTB forms. See which one fits your situation.
Each approach has its strengths. Here's when to use what.
Free but time-intensive
These are the most frequent errors the LTB sees — and LTB Ready catches all of them automatically.
Using a 14-day notice when the RTA requires 60 or 120 days. One wrong number and the LTB throws out your form. LTB Ready calculates the correct termination date automatically based on your tenancy type and reason.
Serving a notice by email when the tenant hasn’t consented, or not adding the required extra days for mail service. LTB Ready’s Certificate of Service walks you through valid methods and adjusts deadlines accordingly.
Leaving mandatory sections blank or checking the wrong boxes on government XFA forms. The LTB returns incomplete applications without a hearing. LTB Ready validates every field before generating your PDF.
No. LTB Ready is a document preparation service, not a law firm or paralegal service. We help you fill out LTB forms accurately using step-by-step guidance and built-in validation, but we do not provide legal advice or represent you at hearings. Using LTB Ready does not create a solicitor-client or paralegal-client relationship.
If your case involves large sums of money, complicated legal issues, or you need someone to represent you at a hearing, we recommend hiring a licensed paralegal or lawyer. You can find one through the Law Society of Ontario (lso.ca) or Legal Aid Ontario (legalaid.on.ca). Our Find a Paralegal page also has referral resources.
LTB Ready supports 17 Ontario LTB forms: landlord notices (N4, N5, N6, N7, N8, N11, N12, N13), landlord applications (L1, L2, L3, L9), tenant applications (T1, T2, T6, T7), plus supporting documents like the Certificate of Service, Rent Ledger, and Good Faith Affidavit. All forms are updated for Bill 60 (2026).
Tenant forms start at $9 each. Single landlord forms are $29. Eviction bundles (which include the notice, application, and Certificate of Service) are $59–$69. There are no subscriptions or monthly fees — you pay once per form or bundle.
Yes. If you start with LTB Ready and later decide you need legal representation, you can bring your completed forms and case documents to a paralegal. The forms we generate are standard LTB documents, so any legal professional can work with them.
