Tenants whose landlord has interfered with their rights
When to use it
When your landlord illegally entered your unit, harassed you, withheld services, or interfered with your reasonable enjoyment.
What happens next
The LTB schedules a hearing. Remedies can include an order to stop the behaviour, rent abatement, and damages. Filing fee: $48 (online) paid to the LTB.
Note: The LTB charges a separate government filing fee ($48 online / $53 by mail), paid directly to the LTB when you file.
